The last two years have seen some interesting developments in commercial property corporate transactions. A year ago, banking giant BNP Paribas acquired Strutt & Parker to boost its real estate offering. In the latest merger, Vail Williams and Hughes Ellard have formed one of the largest practices across the south coast, but how does that effect those providers at the smaller end of the scale?

Established in 1991, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell is a highly regarded firm of independent chartered surveyors and commercial property consultants. We look to bring a fresh, dynamic approach to the real estate market striving to offer the best possible results for our clients. We see ourselves as being so much more than ‘just a property agent’.

Our clients range from national property investors with substantial and growing portfolios to individual occupiers, all of which are looking for a personal service whether transacting, requiring bank valuations or relying on our team to manage their building or multi-let estate. They value the integrity and tenacity that we bring to the relationship we build with them over time. And it’s in our interests to be with them every step of their particular journey, because more often than not, we act for clients across many disciplines from traditional agency to property and asset management, development and valuation. It also means that we act for clients in different ways over many years because we care passionately about that relationship.

With two generations of knowledge and decades of market experience within the team, our advice is underpinned with a thorough understanding of the commercial property market. Clients come to us for that knowledge and intuitive understanding of the region’s property sector, and we always try to deliver. Our solid reputation is built on the recommendation of happy clients.

Our clients find our straight forward, open and honest approach refreshing. Experts in our respective fields, we work across service lines to provide a joined-up service across all sectors. We are, above all, a people business – our client’s needs are of the first and utmost importance.

We believe that people who are specialists give the best advice, hence our services are broken down into specific areas as this structure allows us to offer a bespoke service providing solutions across all property types.

Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell is enjoying a period of progressive growth, yet we are loyal to our roots. Based firmly on the south coast, we are owned, managed and run from Portsmouth, it’s our home, our passion and the place we know best.
