The three directors each have specialised knowledge within the professional, agency and development sectors. This includes management, to incorporate industrial/warehousing, offices, retail, investments and development.

Stuart Mitchell qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1990 having worked in the Portsmouth area since 1985; he now lives in the Petersfield area and covers most of South East Hampshire. He specialises in a cross section of work including Bank & Asset Valuations, Landlord & Tenant matters, Asset Management and most aspects of Agency including development & investment.
Tom Holloway joined the company in late 1999. Having been born and bred on the south coast this has provided him a thorough understanding of the regional market place. He lives in Winchester which enables access to the whole of the central southern region. He looks after all sectors of commercial agency and investment across this region and has acted for many clients ranging from local investors through to corporate organisations as well as providing professional advise on rent reviews and Asset valuation.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell are pleased to welcome Bruce Macaulay to our expanding commercial property management department. Bruce will be acting as a facilities manager alongside Gina Bailey, dealing with all aspects of commercial property management and facility management across the whole portfolio. Bruce comes from an experienced property management position in South Africa and is looking to apply that experience to the commercial property field in the UK and will work closely with the property managers on a day-to-day basis .

Geoff Springthorpe started work in the property industry in 1984 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. He has lived and worked in Portsmouth continuously since 1990 and currently specialises in Commercial Property Management. He has previous experience in Agency, Valuation, Survey and all aspects of Landlord & Tenant work.
Hamish MacAlister joined Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell in 2018 as a commercial management surveyor. He lives in the New Forest area. Hamish studied for an MSc in Real Estate. He has worked in the property industry since 2010, managing a diverse commercial portfolio building a detailed knowledge of all aspects of Landlord & Tenant work, Asset Management and Development.
Nick Holtby MRICS Chartered Surveyor is Senior Agency Surveyor effectively dealing with all the sales and lettings of commercial portfolio to include retail, office and industrial. Nick has extensive knowledge in the agency sector having been previously employed in the Portsmouth region.
Nick is assisted by George Cooper, Agency Graduate, both covering South Hampshire and the M27, M3, A3 and A3(M) corridors.
Derek Holloway is a retired Chartered Surveyor and lives in Southampton. He has many years experience in the commercial sector particularly along the M27 corridor including Portsmouth and Southampton. He is responsible for sales and lettings together with rent reviews and valuations within the industrial and office markets as well as providing general development and investment advice.
Andrew Gardner joined the company in late 2021, as a Commercial Property Manager in our expanding Management Department. He has extensive commercial and Landlord & Tenant experience, having previously performed a variety of roles for Pub and Restaurant Companies, notably Whitbread, Enterprise Inns and Pizza Hut.
Gina Bailey joined Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell in 2017 having moved to Southsea that same year, before joining our team she had previously worked in property insurance. Using her knowledge in the building industry Gina started working closely with the growing Property Management team and is now acting as a Facilities and Property Manager.
My career started in banking and finance, with a transition to property management accounts in 2005. During my time working in the commercial property sector I have covered all aspects of service charge accounts, and I am experienced in reconciliations and client reports. I joined Holloway Iliffe and Mitchell in July 2020 as property management accounts co-ordinator where my main role is to streamline reporting procedures and provide accounting support to the team.
