Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has continued its retail lettings with 30 High Street set to become the fifth Beatons Tearoom franchise. The transformation is well underway with the new tearoom on track to open in October. It will be run and managed by Fifi Zahedfar.
First established in Tisbury, Wiltshire, all Beatons Tearooms – their name and interiors are inspired by the elegance of royal photographer and costume designer Sir Cecil Beaton – deliver a stylish take on quintessential afternoon tea. In addition to Tisbury, Beatons Tearooms can also be found in Blandford, Crowthorne and Chester.
Stuart Mitchell, Director of agents Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell who managed the transaction comments:
“Petersfield has a great deal of local literary history and to have Beatons Tearooms come to the town complements that. We have continued to see interest from potential tenants for retail premises in the town, demonstrating increasing confidence in Petersfield as a location that is good for business.”
Beatons Managing Director, Patrick Duffy added:
“It’s been a pleasure working with Holloway Illiffe & Mitchell as part of our national roll-out of our tearooms around the country – returning elegance and exceptional service to the quintessentially English afternoon tea experience. We’ve been very professionally served throughout the process of acquiring the lease to what is an absolutely stunning building in the High Street. We can’t wait to unveil it in its ‘new clothes’ when we open in Petersfield in October.”
