Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has completed the letting of Belvedere Point on Alexandria Park, Havant to marine engineering company SubSea Craft Limited, which sees the business expand its operations across the South Coast.
Belvedere Point is now the headquarters and research and development centre of one of the country’s most exciting marine technology specialists. SubSea Craft has taken a new six-year lease on the whole of the building at 1a Alexandria Park, which comprises over 5,000 sq. ft of industrial/warehouse and office space. Following a major refit programme, SubSea Craft is now in full occupation.
In the summer of 2018, SubSea Craft moved its trials, testing and training operations to its own dedicated facility in the Portland Marina area where the open water is an ideal place for it to trial its state-of-the-art submersible diver delivery unit.
Commenting on the transaction, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director Tom Holloway said: “Belvedere Point forms part of one of the important business parks in the Broadmarsh Area just on the outskirts of Havant. Having SubSea Craft as an occupier both here and in Portland is a great accolade for the South Coast and we are delighted to welcome them to Belvedere Point.”
Karen Barnard, Head of Business Development, SubSea Craft Limited, said:
‘’SubSea Craft is delighted to have been able to establish its Headquarters and R&D operations at Belvedere Point, a prime location which is proving to be perfect for engagement with its customers, industrial partners, and suppliers’’.
