Following the letting of Oriel House for I Love Dust two years ago, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell went on let a second premises to one of the UK’s most exciting design firms, but with a twist in the tale.

As part of the comprehensive refurbishment process at Oriel House, I Love Dust established a quirky, but soon to be much sought-after coffee hideout. Originally only for staff use, the space soon opened its doors to the public and was an instant hit.

The success of Oriel House generated the idea to add a second version of the quirky coffee shop to agenda. Roll forward and the new premises at Charter House on Lord Montgomery Way, has been up and running for a few months. In keeping with the I Love Dust style, Hideout Coffee #2 has been turned into a unique space for coffee (and doughnut) connoisseurs to enjoy locally sourced produce.

The coffee beans come from River Coffee Roasters in Winchester, the milk from Northnay Farm, Hayling Island and the doughnuts are made by the onsite team.

Commenting on the latest transaction, Director Tom Holloway said:

“With the original Hideout Coffee being such a success, we were delighted to be able to find another suitable premises for Hideout Coffee #2 to open its doors to the public. Great to see it open its doors on Christmas day giving away coffee to those whose day wasn’t such a happy one.”

“Lord Montgomery Way is a great location, and the refurbishment of the original print shop has clearly been a hit with the visitors from both near and far.”
