In these difficult and unusual times there are still acts of generosity and kindness. Holloway Iliffe and Mitchell have just completed a letting of a warehouse in Farlington, acting for Landlord, Tilbury Metals Ltd. Tilbury Metals Ltd agreed a short-term agreement with OSKA Care Ltd who are emergency supply specialists. OSKA Care Ltd will use the site to store equipment required for the ongoing fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19). As this facility was to support the NHS’s ongoing fight against the virus, the landlord took the unusual decision to not charge rent or pass on any business rates incurred. Further to that Holloway Iliffe and Mitchell also waived their fees for the process.

“ OSKA were astounded at the generous offer from Tilbury Metals, and are incredibly grateful for their support in this great effort. Working together we can overcome this crisis “

The Agent Tom Holloway has said

“It was great to be involved in a deal that will help contribute in some small way to the ongoing fight again COVID 19. We all hope this is controlled as soon as possible, and this just shows what some landlords’ are prepared to do’.
