Unity Brewing Co’s new brewery HQ on Princes Street has undergone a substantial refurbishment programme in recent months and is now fully up and running. Unity leased the 4,000 sq ft site in the summer and set about its fitout to turn the warehouse into a state-of-the-art brewery facility and tap room.

The brewery is now fully up and running and output of Unity Brewing’s popular craft beer range has increased hugely in just the few short weeks since it was commissioned.

Unity Brewing Founder and Head Brewer, Jimmy Hatherley comments:

“Moving to bigger premises has been a big step up for the company and we are grateful for the time and effort given to us by Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell while we made the transition. The set-up we now have at Princess Street will enable us to grow the business and we look forward to an exciting future in Southampton.”

Commenting on the new brewery, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell director Tom Holloway said:

“We were delighted to have been able to secure Unity Brewing for the popular Princes Street site. Having visited the new brewery and tap room recently, there has been a fantastic transformation of the space. Congratulations to the team.”

“With the continued decline in well located small and medium sized industrial units across the south coast, the Princes Street deal was quick to complete and we look forward to seeing Unity Brewing continue with its expansion plans.”
